Sea Defences
Aquacast has been developed to solve the problem of erosion by the battering forces of the waves, or where there is a rising water level. Wave forces are destructive: when defences are weak or when old sea walls can no longer withstand continuous impact, then Aquacast can be fitted to reinforce existing walls by piling in front or behind the existing structure without requiring its demolition.
This innovative method of construction also operates on the same principles of an interlocking design. If reversed and used in conjunction with each other, the casts will form walls with deflecting angles to reflect the wave-force back towards the sea; greatly reducing the impact.
